S-32 DSP CODE INSTALL/UPDATE

Boot loader update procedure:    Proper version MUST be installed before updating the firmware.

1. Hold down the left encoder and apply power to the S32, wait for the firmware update display to appear on the screen. The display will read out the Kernal/Loader version. If your version is 1.32 or below you must complete this section first. If you have v1.33 or higher you can skip directly to the Firmware update proceedure.
2. Connect the S32 USB to the updating computer. Computer will find "Peavey Mixer". Wait until USB drivers are loaded into windows (only first time connected).
3. Run flashloader_ver1.3.exe. Midi connect dialog box will come up and ask for MIDI device. Select USB audio device for both MIDI in and MIDI out. Click on the "Connect" button. The S32 status will be shown in the text window confirming the connection is OK.
4. Click "Select firmware file" and browse for the KRN_133.bin file in the "Run First" folder.
5. Click "Write Loader" button in top right corner of dialog box. A confirmation box will appear. Click "YES". Code will load and S32 will reboot into new version loader. Exit flashloader.exe.

1. Hold down the left encoder and apply power to the S32, wait for the firmware update display to appear on the screen.
2. Run Flashloader Ver 1.3.exe.
3. Select USB audio device for both MIDI in and out as in step 3 above. Click connect.
4. Click "Select firmware file" and browse for the PVY_V109.bin file in the "Run Next" folder. (The file version number will change.)
5. Click the "Write to Flash" button. Click "YES" in confirmation box.
6. After it is finished (watch the text window, it will program, then verify), the S32 will reboot and the Dove screen will show on it.
7. Exit the Flashloader application.
8. Unit is updated and ready for test.
